Case Study
Irish Golfer
The Challenge
Where they started
Irish Golfer had the audience and the editorial authority of an established golf brand, but its podcast and imagery needed to look as good on screen as the magazine read on the page.
Broadcast-quality video and editorial photography take lighting, kit and post-production a newsroom doesn’t have. Even the room was a problem, as publisher Peter Finnan put it, “the lighting in the room is quite harsh.”
What We Did
Our approach
- 1
We made the podcast look broadcast
Planned and lit at the brand’s HQ with a dedicated lighting design, delivered as full YouTube episodes plus subtitled short-form cuts for social.
- 2
We shot the magazine its own imagery
Editorial photography captured on the same days, owned, on-brand visuals for the magazine and its articles, instead of stock.
- 3
We turned launches into a content stream
An ongoing slate of equipment-review videos, Titleist, TaylorMade and more, delivered as YouTube edits plus Instagram reels, feeding website, social and print from one pipeline.
The Work
What we delivered
Magazine cover“I have used the lads at Bluemotion for over 6 months now and have been so impressed. From planning to shooting and editing Joel & Stefan made my video projects at Irish Golfer so much easier to manage and produce. They are so professional and have all the right gear to cover any production needs we had. I would highly recommend using Bluemotion Media, you won’t regret it.”

Why It Worked
The difference
- One shoot fed every platform, podcast, stills and social captured together.
- Broadcast-quality lighting and kit gave a magazine brand a screen presence to match.
- One-off shoots became a monthly retainer, the clearest sign it works.
