About the project

Raising Films Ireland supports parents and carers working in Irish film and television. With the National Talent Academies, they run a Job Share programme for crew who want to share one role between two people.

We filmed their Job Share Training and Networking Day in August. There was no PA in the room, so we brought and ran all the sound for the panel, and recorded eleven interviews with panellists and attendees over the morning. The result is a three-minute film for their website, with shorter cuts for social.

Built from eleven interviews, the film moves from the reality of long crew hours to how a job share works in practice, with the panel and the room as b-roll.
