Video production and video ads for clinics, physios and Pilates studios in Ireland

Video production and managed Meta and Google ads, from one Dublin team, for businesses across Ireland.

Video production and video ads for clinics, physios and Pilates studios in Ireland

In short: Blue Motion Media, a Dublin video and ads studio, makes video marketing for physio, podiatry and other private clinics and Pilates studios across Ireland: practitioner films, first-visit explainers and consented patient stories, run as Meta and Google ads. Health advertising rules mean scripts should describe the service and the experience rather than promise an outcome. We report monthly on leads and cost per lead. For StepRight's foot clinics in Waterford and New Ross, that meant concept-led reels filmed in the clinics.

Who this is for

  • Physiotherapy, sports injury and athletic therapy clinics
  • Podiatry and foot clinics, including those with a footwear shop
  • Pilates, reformer, yoga and boutique fitness studios
  • Chiropractic, osteopathy, massage, nutrition and other private health clinics

What we make for clinics and wellness businesses

Meet-the-practitioner films

A short film for each physio, podiatrist or instructor: who they are, what they see most and how a session runs. A nervous first-time patient is choosing a person, not a building.

First-visit and treatment explainers

What happens at the assessment, how long it takes, what to wear, what the equipment does. For StepRight we filmed the 3D foot scanner close up in a darkened room, so the scan itself became the hook.

Patient and member stories, with consent

Real patients and members describing the experience in their own words: why they came in, what the sessions were like, what everyday life looks like now. Every patient story needs the patient's explicit written consent first, separate from their consent to treatment, and should never be framed as a promise that everyone gets the same result.

Concept-led reels and studio content

Foot health and posture are subjects people scroll past, so the idea comes first. StepRight's "No Superpowers Required" sketches were made to stop the scroll before the clinic is even mentioned. For studios: the room, the class and the instructor's cues, cut in 9:16 for Reels and 1:1 for the feed.

How it works

1

Google Search for people ready to book

Someone in pain searches for a physio or podiatrist near them and wants an appointment soon. Search ads on those terms can send people straight to your booking page. Google does not allow remarketing lists or uploaded customer lists for ads in its health category, which covers treatments for conditions such as arthritis, so the plan works without them.

2

Meta for local trust before the need

Facebook and Instagram show practitioner and explainer videos to people within reach of the clinic or studio, so you are familiar before they need you. Meta does not allow ads that assert or imply the viewer has a health condition, so hooks describe the service and its benefits, not the viewer's health.

3

Tracking that respects health data rules

Meta's terms bar health information from the data its pixel sends, including URL parameters and custom event names, and Meta can put a pixel into a restricted "core setup" that stops it sending custom parameters and anything in a URL after the domain. So clinic tracking needs neutral event names and no condition or treatment names in page URLs or parameters. We install conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager before any spend, and if Meta restricts lower-funnel events for your site, the campaign has to be built around the events it still allows.

4

Monthly reporting and fresh creative

A monthly report on leads and cost per lead, and what we are changing next month. Most clients move to a monthly retainer, so fresh content keeps going out and the ads do not go stale.

Proof

StepRight

Foot clinics in Waterford and New Ross, plus an online footwear shop, that wanted more clinic bookings and online sales from paid social. Six vertical films are on the case study: two comic sketches (0:16 and 0:09), a 0:38 scanner ad, a 1:25 clinic reel, a footwear reel and an FAQ reel. Everything was filmed in the clinics and run through Meta and Google for both the clinics and the shop.

"We are having a very good experience working with Stefan and Joel. The quality of their videos is top notch. We've had a pretty good response to adverts so far."StepRight, client review

AIMS Summit

A transatlantic healthcare and medtech summit rather than a clinic, bringing clinicians, researchers, founders and investors together. It is here because it shows how we interview people from healthcare on camera: at RCSI in Dublin in August 2026 our crew ran the interviews from questions agreed with the organisers, after two days in Chicago in March 2025 produced around forty event, ad and web assets.

Questions we get asked

How much does video marketing cost for a clinic or Pilates studio in Ireland?

There is no fixed price: Blue Motion Media scopes each clinic or studio and quotes after a 30-minute strategy call, based on how many shoot days you need, how often you need fresh content and whether we run the ads as well as make them. A useful yardstick is what one new patient is worth across a course of treatment, or one member across a year of classes. Ad spend is separate and paid straight to Meta or Google from your own ad account. For Irish market ranges, see our video production cost guide on the blog.

What can a clinic say in a video ad in Ireland?

A clinic can describe its services, its practitioners and what a visit involves, but any health claim needs evidence and no ad should suggest a treatment works for everyone. The Advertising Standards Authority (formerly ASAI) Code also says unqualified claims such as "cure" are not generally acceptable, and anyone shown giving what looks like professional advice or recommendations should be suitably qualified, with relevant and recognised qualifications. Registered physiotherapists also have CORU's code of conduct: advertising must be truthful, accurate, lawful and not misleading. So clinic scripts should describe the service and the experience, never a promised outcome. This is general information, not legal advice.

Can we film our patients for marketing videos?

Yes, with the patient's explicit written consent, asked for separately from their consent to treatment. A patient talking about their treatment is sharing health information, which GDPR treats as special category data, and Ireland's Data Protection Commission names explicit consent as one condition for using it. Ask once treatment is under way rather than at the first appointment, and name the clinic, the channels and the time period. Keep anything clinical, such as notes or other patients, out of frame. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) Code expects advertisers to hold signed, dated proof for any testimonial they use. This is general information, not legal advice.

Our physios and instructors are not comfortable on camera. Can this still work?

Yes. Joel Zeiser, our director, is documentary-trained, so we know how to put people at ease on camera and draw out answers that sound genuine. Questions are written in advance, so a practitioner is answering the questions patients already ask rather than presenting. A piece to camera can be short: one practitioner answering one common question, like the founder and FAQ pieces to camera we make for other clients.

What results should a clinic or studio expect from video ads?

We do not guarantee results, and in health advertising nobody should. Our closest clinic work is StepRight, two foot clinics in Waterford and New Ross with an online shoe shop, where concept-led reels were run through Meta and Google for both. Their review says: "We've had a pretty good response to adverts so far." What we do instead: conversion tracking goes in before any ad spend, and once the ads are live a monthly report shows leads and cost per lead, so you judge the work on your own numbers.
