Social media management in Dublin, built around video

Video production and managed Meta and Google ads from one Dublin team, for businesses across Ireland.

Social media management in Dublin, built around video

In short: Blue Motion Media is a Dublin studio that provides video-led social media management for businesses across Ireland: we plan content days, film and edit short vertical videos with our own crew, and put the strongest ones behind Facebook and Instagram ads. The videos come to you ready to post, and day-to-day posting and replies can stay with your own team, or we can post to your pages and handle comments and messages if you want us to. Most clients move to a monthly retainer, so fresh content keeps going out, the ads keep being tested and improved, and you get a monthly report on leads and cost per lead.

Who it is for

  • Owner-run businesses whose feed goes quiet because nobody has time to film
  • Companies selling considered purchases, such as solar, home improvement and clinics, where trust decides the sale
  • Businesses that have posted or boosted for months and got likes but few enquiries
  • Retailers and brands with products that need to be seen in use, not in a still photo
  • Marketing managers with someone posting in-house who need professional video and the paid side run properly

What you get

A content plan for every batch

A 30-minute strategy call maps the plan. Before each content day, every video is written down with its format, its speaker and its job: to convert, to reassure or to remove a reason not to enquire.

Planned content days, our own crew

Scripts and shot lists are prepared for you, then a half or full day with cinema cameras, lighting, sound and drone. Planned well, one day gives two to three months of videos.

Short-form video in every format

Vertical 9:16 edits for Reels, Stories and TikTok, plus 16:9 and 1:1 versions (4:5 feed versions on request), finished with sound design, motion graphics, music and colour grade. The music is licensed for paid ads, so the same edits can run in your campaigns. Usually back within 7 to 10 days of the shoot.

Paid social on Facebook and Instagram

You give us access to your Meta ad account, or we set one up, then we install conversion tracking on your site through Google Tag Manager and run testimonial and offer-led video ads. We A/B test them and move budget to the ones that bring enquiries.

A monthly report on leads

What was spent, how many enquiries came in, what each one cost, and what we would change next month. Leads and cost per lead, not likes.

Videos you own

The finished edits land in a shared Google Drive in high resolution, ready to post, along with the raw footage from the content day. You own the videos, so they keep working on your page, on your website and in sales meetings.

How it works

1

Strategy call

Thirty minutes on your business, your customers and your goals. We map a content plan from that, not from a one-size-fits-all package.

2

Scripts and deliverables list

We write the scripts and shot lists and decide every video before the camera comes out, so the content day runs tight and nothing gets missed.

3

Content day

Our crew films everything on the list back to back: the work itself, the premises, staff and customers. Each setup is framed so it cuts as a 9:16 reel and a 16:9 piece.

4

Edit and deliver

Each video is cut, captioned where it helps, colour graded and mixed, then delivered in a shared Google Drive, usually within 7 to 10 days of the shoot.

5

Run, test and report

The strongest videos go into your Meta campaigns with tracking in place. Each month we report on leads and cost per lead, and the next content day is planned around what worked.

How is video-led social media different from a posting-only service?

A posting-only service turns the photos and clips you send in into a content calendar, branded graphics and scheduled posts. A video-led service starts a step earlier: it plans and films the content, edits it to a professional standard and puts paid budget behind the videos that bring in enquiries. Posting-only works if you already have good footage. Many owner-run businesses do not, so they film one video at a time when an idea comes up, and the feed goes quiet again a fortnight later.

The audience is there either way. Kepios analysis for DataReportal found 4.26 million active social media user identities in Ireland in October 2025, equal to 80.1% of the population, although identities are not always unique people (DataReportal, Digital 2026: Ireland). Being on the platforms is not the hard part. Having something worth watching every week is.

Blue Motion Media is a Dublin video production and ads studio, so our social media marketing starts with the footage. If you already have someone posting and answering messages, keep them: they know your customers, and we add the video and the paid side. If you do not, we can also post the videos to your pages and reply to comments and messages for you. Here is what social media services usually include, so you can compare like with like.

How often do you need a content day?

It depends on how hard your ads are working. Planned well, one content day gives two to three months of videos, so a quarterly day suits a business that mainly needs video for its own page and a few ads. If ads run all year, film monthly: Meta ads wear out in weeks, and a fresh batch every month means the ads never run stale.

  • Quarterly: one day for two to three months of short vertical videos, a longer piece, and stills and static ad frames pulled from the footage.
  • Monthly: the model Dream Home has run since December 2024. Each month's filming day becomes around six vertical videos plus a long-form piece, which go straight into their Meta and Google campaigns.
  • Around events and launches: an extra day for a trade show, a product launch or a conference or event, when there is something worth filming that will not happen twice. Plantech's day at the Ideal Home Show is a good example.

Whichever cadence you pick, lock the day in the diary in advance, with a planning call a week before, so being too busy to film stops being a reason the feed goes quiet. Here is how to plan a content day that lasts a quarter.

What does social media management with video and paid ads cost in Ireland?

Across the Irish market, social media retainers that include professional video production and paid ads typically run €2,000 to €12,000 a month plus ad spend. This is a market range, not Blue Motion Media's price, and packages without professional video or paid ads cost much less: see how much social media management costs in Ireland for the posting-only and full-service ranges.

Three things move the number: how many content days you need a year, how many finished edits come out of each one, and whether Meta and Google campaigns are managed as well. Ad spend is separate and is normally paid to Meta or Google directly. We scope every retainer after a free 30-minute strategy call and give you a real number then.

A useful way to judge any quote: work out what one new customer is worth to you, then how many the content would need to bring in to pay for itself. Here are Irish video production and content retainer costs, broken down.

Proof

Dream Home Co.

Stoves, fireplaces and media walls in North Dublin, and a client since December 2024. One filming day a month becomes around six vertical videos plus a long-form piece, which go straight into the Meta and Google campaigns we run for them. In one month: 108,000+ impressions, a 3.11% click-through rate and 27 leads.

"Not only is their work second to none, but they are two great guys to work with. Our business has definitely felt the positives of having these guys on board."Eoin, Founder, Dream Home Co.

McGuirks Golf

One of Ireland's best-known golf retailers. Four shoot days over two months produced a nine-part YouTube review series and twelve reels for social, and some episodes passed 20,000 clicks on a small channel.

"The quality of content they have produced has been outstanding and we can see it through the traction on our socials. The turnaround time is excellent…"McGuirks Golf, Google review

Plantech

Dublin architectural design and build firm. One shoot day on their stand at the Ideal Home Show in the RDS produced sixteen assets: fifteen vertical reels and a website hero film, built for paid and organic at once.

Questions we get asked

How much of our time does a content day take?

Usually a half or full day, plus a short call or two. You give us a 30-minute strategy call at the start, the day itself and, ideally, a short planning call the week before. We write the scripts and shot lists, bring the cameras, lighting, sound and crew, and schedule the day to the minute so nobody waits around. Customer testimonials can be shot in a two to three hour window. Finished videos are usually back with you within 7 to 10 days of the shoot.

Why build social media around video rather than graphics?

Because video shows what a graphic cannot: the finished room, the product in use, and real customers saying why they bought. It also earns its place in the ads. For Dream Home Co., when the video ads beat the static ones, the statics were retired and the budget followed the video. Meta also learns faster from a spread of hooks and formats than from one polished ad, so a batch of different short videos gives the platform more to work with than a set of templates.

We tried a social media agency before and got no leads. What would be different?

Usually three things change: tracking goes in before any money is spent, the creative is made for the ads, and fresh videos keep arriving. When social ads have failed before, the common causes are no conversion tracking, so the platform optimises blind; weak creative with no hook in the first seconds; an agency that ran ads but made no content; and one ad left running until it wore out. We install tracking through Google Tag Manager, judge everything on leads and cost per lead, and each month you see what was spent, how many enquiries came in and what each one cost.

Which platforms do you make social media content for?

Facebook and Instagram first, because they suit most consumer businesses and that is where we run paid social. Batches are cut vertically in 9:16 for Reels, Stories and TikTok, with 16:9 and 1:1 versions for YouTube, your website and feeds where you need them. Longer pieces, such as review series, podcasts and customer films, suit YouTube, where we also run ads through Google. One or two platforms done well will beat a thin feed spread across five.

Can we start with a single content day before a monthly retainer?

Yes. A single content day is a fair test of the work before you commit to anything ongoing. You get a batch of finished videos in the formats you need, usually within 7 to 10 days of the shoot, delivered in a shared Google Drive and owned by you. Some Blue Motion Media clients come to us for a single shoot, but most move to a monthly retainer, because regular content days keep the feed active and give the ads new creative to test.
