Video production and video ads for window, door and insulation companies in Ireland
Video production and managed Meta and Google ads, from one Dublin team, for businesses across Ireland.
In short: Blue Motion Media is a Dublin video and ads studio that does video marketing for window, door and insulation companies across Ireland: we film fitting days, customer before-and-afters and SEAI grant explainers, then run them as Meta and Google ads with qualifying questions on the form, so homes that are not a fit rule themselves out before anyone books a survey. Our closest proof is solar, where homeowners also weigh an SEAI grant: video and ads together have brought Evolve Eco Solutions more than 12,000 leads over 18 months.
Who this is for
- Window installers and replacement companies fitting uPVC, aluminium or timber
- Front, composite and patio door suppliers with a showroom
- Attic, cavity and external wall insulation contractors
- Irish window and door manufacturers selling direct to homeowners
What we make for windows, doors and insulation businesses
Before-and-afters you can hear and feel
The same room before and after the fit: street noise recorded from the same spot at the same level, condensation on the old glass, a hand at the frame where the draught was. For doors, the same shot from the footpath. Then the homeowner, in their own words.
Fitting-day films
One house, start to finish: old frames out, new ones in, sealed and cleaned up. A time-lapse answers two common worries before anyone asks: how long the house is open, and what mess is left behind. Cut in 9:16 for Reels and Stories and 16:9 for the website and showroom screens.
SEAI grant and spec explainers
Short pieces to camera on what holds up a decision: does my house qualify for the SEAI windows grant, why the attic and walls need good insulation to qualify (SEAI lets the insulation and the windows be done in the same project), why the new windows and doors need a U-value of 1.4 W/m²K or lower, double or triple glazing.
Insulation, made visible
Insulation disappears once it is fitted, so we film the process: the crew in the attic or on the wall, drone shots of an external wall job before and after, thermal images from your surveys if you have them, and the homeowner on the difference.
How it works
Google Search for people pricing a job
Searches such as "replacement windows" or "SEAI windows grant" plus a town come from homeowners who want quotes now. Search ads catch them, and a landing page with your fitting-day film and testimonials does the convincing.
Meta for homeowners not yet searching
Facebook and Instagram, set to the counties you cover, put before-and-afters in front of homeowners who have not started looking yet. Draught and condensation films run as the weather turns, with fresh cuts each month so the ads do not go stale.
Qualifying questions on the form
A landing page, not an instant form, that asks what decides the job: roughly when the house was built, house type, how many windows or doors, and whether the attic and walls are insulated. Likely grant cases show up before anyone books a survey.
Follow-up through the grant wait
SEAI requires grant approval before work starts, so there is a gap between quote and fit. Emails with testimonials and fitting-day films keep you in front of the homeowner, and Google Tag Manager tracking feeds a monthly report on leads and cost per lead.
Proof
Evolve Eco Solutions
Adjacent trade: solar PV, not windows, but the same homeowner weighing an SEAI grant. Short vertical explainers on the grant, the install and the savings, plus unscripted customer stories, run as one YouTube and Meta funnel. 12,000+ leads over 18 months from the video and ads together.
"Our leads are always there and they're growing consistently throughout the year. It's nearly like having an in-house marketing team."Warren, Founder, Evolve Eco Solutions
Dream Home Co.
Adjacent trade: stoves, fireplaces and media walls in North Dublin, not windows. We film installs in customers' homes every month and run the Meta and Google ads they go into, sending people to a landing page rather than an instant form. In one month: 108,000+ impressions, a 3.11% click-through rate and 27 leads.
"Not only is their work second to none, but they are two great guys to work with. Our business has definitely felt the positives of having these guys on board."Eoin, Founder, Dream Home Co.
Questions we get asked
How much does video and ad marketing cost for a window, door or insulation company?
Blue Motion Media quotes each window, door or insulation company after a free 30-minute strategy call rather than publishing a price list, because the cost depends on how many shoot days you need and whether we run the ads as well as make the videos. Ad spend is separate and is paid straight to Meta and Google from your own ad account. A useful test is what one fitted house is worth to your business. For typical Irish market ranges, see the video production cost guide on our blog.
Have you worked with window, door or insulation companies before?
Blue Motion Media does not have a windows, doors or insulation case study yet, and we would rather say so. Our closest work is in adjacent trades that sell to the same Irish homeowner: Evolve Eco Solutions, a solar installer whose customers also weigh an SEAI grant, where our grant explainers and customer stories run as one YouTube and Meta funnel, and Dream Home Co., where we film stove and media-wall installs in customers' homes every month and run the Meta and Google ads. The method carries over, but your results will be your own.
What results can a window or insulation company realistically expect?
Results depend on your budget, the area you cover and your offer, and we do not guarantee them: anyone who does is over-promising. The fairest benchmark we can show is from an adjacent trade. Dream Home Co., a North Dublin stove and media-wall company with fresh install videos every month, had over 108,000 impressions, a 3.11% click-through rate and 27 leads in one month. Your monthly report shows your own leads and cost per lead, so you judge the work on your numbers, not ours.
Should our ads lead with the SEAI windows and doors grant?
Use it, but state it accurately. As of October 2026, SEAI's windows and doors grant (introduced in March 2026) runs from €1,500 for an apartment to €4,000 for a detached house, plus €800 per external door for up to two doors, so the house type and the words "up to" matter. The conditions belong in the explainer too: a home built and occupied before 2011, good attic and wall insulation (it can be added in the same project), a registered contractor and grant approval before work starts. Grant values change, so check the windows and doors grant page on seai.ie before any figure goes into an ad.
Do our fitters or customers have to go on camera?
Not necessarily. A window or insulation video can be built from footage of the work alone: old frames out, the new fit, the finished room, the way our stove showcase for Dream Home Co. is made entirely from b-roll. When the owner, a fitter or a customer is ready to speak, our documentary background means we know how to put people at ease on camera and draw out answers that sound genuine. Planned well, one shoot day gives two to three months of videos, and finished videos are usually back within 7 to 10 days of the shoot.
