Google Ads and YouTube ads management in Dublin and across Ireland

Video production and managed Meta and Google ads from one Dublin team, for businesses across Ireland.

Google Ads and YouTube ads management in Dublin and across Ireland

In short: Blue Motion Media is a Dublin team that runs Google Search and YouTube ads for businesses across Ireland, and shoots and edits the video ads itself. Search reaches people already typing what you sell into Google, while YouTube reaches them earlier, as they research a bigger purchase. We set up conversion tracking before any spend and report cost per lead monthly: for Evolve Eco Solutions, video plus YouTube and Meta ads have produced 12,000+ leads over 18 months.

Who it is for

  • Businesses selling a considered purchase that buyers research for weeks, such as solar, home energy, renovations and clinic treatments
  • Local service businesses whose customers search Google for a provider in their area
  • Retailers and brands with products people like to see reviewed before they buy
  • Companies already running Facebook and Instagram ads that want to add Search and YouTube
  • Owners whose Google Ads account was set up once and left running, with no tracking or reporting

What you get

Search campaigns for buyers already looking

Ads that appear when someone searches for the service you sell, with copy written around your offer.

YouTube campaigns for buyers still researching

Video ads in front of people watching and searching on YouTube while they weigh up a bigger purchase, with Facebook and Instagram following up with your testimonials until they enquire, where that fits.

Video ads made by our crew

Customer testimonials, short explainers and offer-led ads, shot and edited by our own crew and finished with sound design, motion graphics, music and colour grade. Usually back within 7 to 10 days of the shoot.

Conversion tracking before any spend

Google Tag Manager on your site and landing pages, so a form submission or a call is recorded as a lead. Server-side tracking captures conversions that browser privacy settings and ad blockers often miss.

Landing pages built for one offer

A fast, focused page around a single offer, with video doing the persuading and a booking form or calendar, so the click from Google has somewhere good to land. Leads go straight to your inbox or CRM.

Monthly cost-per-lead reporting

Leads and cost per lead for each Search and YouTube campaign, not only each platform, so it is clear which campaign earns the next euro, plus what we are changing next month.

How it works

1

Strategy call

A free 30-minute call to work out what a customer is worth to you, where your buyers search, and whether Search, YouTube or both make sense first.

2

Scripts, shoot and edit

We write the scripts, film the ads in one planned shoot day and deliver finished cuts in 16:9 and 9:16, usually within 7 to 10 days.

3

Access and tracking

You give us access to your Google Ads account and Google Tag Manager. We set up conversion tracking so form submissions and calls are counted before the campaigns spend anything.

4

Launch and test

Search campaigns go live around the services you want more of, and the YouTube ads run as an A/B test of hooks and offers, so the data shows which ones bring in enquiries.

5

Scale what works

We cut what is not working, move budget to the campaigns with the lowest cost per lead, and feed in fresh video from the next shoot.

Google Search or YouTube ads: which does your business need?

They do different jobs. Google Search catches people who already know what they need and are typing it in: a stove fitter in Dublin, a clinic near them, a product by name. With cost-per-click bidding on Search you pay for each click on your ad, and you set a maximum bid per click, which is the most you'll typically be charged (Google Ads Help). YouTube reaches people earlier, while they research a considered purchase such as solar, a renovation or a medical treatment. On YouTube itself, in-feed video ads appear in YouTube search results, so someone searching YouTube for a solar explainer can find yours (Google Ads Help). YouTube ads could reach 4.26 million users in Ireland in late 2025, equivalent to 80.1% of the population, according to Google's advertising data as reported by DataReportal.

  • Search first if people already go to Google looking for your service in your area.
  • YouTube first if buyers research for weeks and one sale is worth enough to justify more budget and patience.
  • Both, with Meta following up if the sale takes weeks: Search and YouTube find the buyer, and Facebook and Instagram ads keep your testimonials in front of them until they enquire.

If your product is visual, local and bought within a few weeks, Meta is often the cheaper platform to test first. Our Meta vs YouTube comparison sets out the trade-offs. If you are comparing Google Ads and YouTube advertising agencies in Dublin, the difference with Blue Motion Media is that we are not an ad agency that outsources the filming: the team that shoots your YouTube ads is the team that runs them.

What Google and YouTube ad formats are there, and what do you pay for each?

  • Responsive search ads: text ads on Google results. Each one takes up to 15 headlines and 4 descriptions, which Google combines into different versions to match each search (Google Ads Help).
  • Skippable in-stream ads: video that plays before, during or after other YouTube videos, which we cut in 16:9. Viewers can skip after five seconds, so the hook and your name have to land first. With cost-per-view bidding you pay when someone watches 30 seconds, or the whole ad if it is shorter, or interacts with it. With Target CPA or Maximise conversions bidding, which aim for conversions such as leads, you pay for impressions instead (Google Ads Help).
  • In-feed video ads: a thumbnail and text in YouTube search results, next to related videos and on the YouTube mobile homepage, charged when someone clicks to watch (or, in video view campaigns, when it auto-plays for at least 10 seconds). A good home for longer testimonials and explainers that people choose to watch.
  • YouTube Shorts ads: vertical 9:16 ads between Shorts in the Shorts feed, where the same short cuts made for Reels can run. You are charged for an impression, a view or an engagement, depending on the bidding.

We deliver every video in the formats the campaigns need: 16:9 (1920×1080) for in-stream ads and your website, 9:16 (1080×1920) for Shorts, and short hooks for testing. Google only runs video ads that are hosted on YouTube, so your ads need a YouTube channel to live on.

What do Google and YouTube ads cost in Ireland?

There are two separate costs. Ad spend is what Google charges for clicks, views and impressions. You set the budget, and it is normally paid to Google directly, from your own ad account. Production and management covers the videos, the campaign build, the tracking and the monthly optimisation. Blue Motion Media does not publish a price list: we quote per project after a free 30-minute strategy call, once we know what a customer is worth to you and how many videos the campaigns need.

On Google you set an average daily budget for each campaign and can change it at any time. Spend varies from day to day, but for most campaigns Google will not charge more than twice the daily budget on any one day, or more than 30.4 times it in a month (Google Ads Help). With cost-per-click bidding, you set a maximum cost-per-click bid, which is the most you will typically be charged for a click, and you are often charged less (Google Ads Help).

To set a budget, work backwards from the value of one customer rather than from what feels affordable. Typical Irish market ranges for video production and for monthly content and ads retainers are in our video production cost guide. Those are market figures, not our rates.

Questions we get asked

Is YouTube advertising worth it for a small business in Ireland?

YouTube advertising is worth it for a small business in Ireland when customers research before they buy and one sale is worth a lot, such as solar, home energy upgrades, renovations or clinic treatments. It needs more budget and patience than Facebook and Instagram, so judge it on cost per lead over a few months, not on views. We do not guarantee results. What we can show is a comparable business: for Evolve Eco Solutions, video plus YouTube and Meta ads have produced 12,000+ leads over 18 months.

Do we need our own videos or a YouTube channel to run YouTube ads?

You need a YouTube channel, because Google only runs video ads that are hosted on YouTube, but you do not need videos already made. Blue Motion Media writes, shoots and edits the ads, and finished videos are usually back within 7 to 10 days of the shoot. Planned well, one shoot day gives two to three months of videos, cut in 16:9 for in-stream ads and 9:16 for Shorts. If you already have footage, we can edit and work with that too.

Can you take over our existing Google Ads account?

Yes: you give us access to your existing Google Ads account and Google Tag Manager, and the first job is the tracking, because Google cannot optimise towards leads it cannot see. We check that form submissions and calls are recorded as conversions and that Google's numbers roughly match your real enquiries. It is also worth checking the location setting: Google Ads Help says that by default ads reach people in or regularly in your area and people who have shown interest in it, which can waste budget for a business that only serves Dublin or one county.

Who owns the Google Ads account and the videos?

You do: the campaigns run in your own Google Ads account, which you give us access to, and ad spend is normally billed to you by Google, separate from what you pay Blue Motion Media. The videos are yours too. We deliver them in a shared Google Drive, in high resolution and in every format you need, so you can keep using them on your website, on social media and in sales meetings.

How long before Google and YouTube ads bring in leads?

Search usually brings enquiries first, because it reaches people who are already looking. YouTube takes longer, because it reaches people earlier in their research. Google also needs data: Google Ads Help says an automated bid strategy can take up to around 50 conversions, or three conversion cycles, to calibrate. With Blue Motion Media the order is the shoot, finished videos usually within 7 to 10 days, then conversion tracking set up before any spend, then campaigns live and tested. We report cost per lead every month, so each platform is judged on your own numbers.

Can the same videos run on YouTube and on Facebook and Instagram?

Yes, and that is one of the main reasons to have one team make the videos and run the ads. We frame each setup so it cuts as a 9:16 vertical and as a 16:9 piece, so one shoot feeds YouTube in-stream ads, Shorts, Reels and your website. Evolve Eco Solutions' vertical explainers and customer stories run on both YouTube and Meta. The edits differ more than the footage: on YouTube the skip button appears after five seconds, so the hook goes first.
